Edith A. “Cookie” (Perkins) Duquette, age 64, of Swansea, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 surrounded by loving family and best friend after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late David T. Duquette.
She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Aparicio) Perkins and employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at Country Gardens nursing home.
She is survived by two sons Alan Vital of Somerset and Michael Vital and his wife Sherri of Swansea; two sisters Diane Vieira of Riverside, RI and Paula Tubman of West Greenwich, RI; two grandsons Michael and Alex Vital, several nieces and nephews and her beloved pet “Belle”. She was also the sister of the late Charlotte Rodrigues.
Her Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10AM in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, RI. Arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, MA.
