Born in England, daughter of the late Ernest and Gertrude (Duxbury) Bolton. She came to Swansea ninety-eight years ago.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Swansea Senior Citizens.
Surviving one son Ronald W. Hoy and his wife Joan of Somerset, one sister Mildred Mendonca of Fall River, two grandchildren Melissa Elliott of Broadway, VA. and William Hoy of Berkley, MA., two great grandchildren Benjamin and Emily Elliott and several nieces. She was also mother of the late James C. Hoy and sister of the late Alfred Bolton.
Funeral Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 10AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Swansea.
