Lily “Lil” (Priestner) Geary, age 85, of Somerset, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Somerset Ridge Center. She was the wife of the late Donald S. Geary, Sr.

Born in Swansea, she was the daughter of the late Walter Priestner, Sr. and Gertrude (Healy) Priestner.

Lil and her husband were the owners of Gallery’s Brass Rail in Swansea for over 20 years. She was a member of Friends of the Bluffs and Swansea Ambulance. She was known for her love of sending cards and above all else she adored her grandson, Shane.

She is survived by her children; Donald S. Geary, Jr. of Fall River, Colleen T. Geary of Fall River, Katherine G. Costa and her husband Jim of Plymouth, and Diane L. Lewis and her husband Shane of Swansea, one grandson, Shane Lewis, II, and her siblings; Margarita Carroll of Swansea and Walter Priestner, Jr. of Cape Cod.

Her Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 AM in Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd, Swansea, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
