Margaret (Pacheco) Lawrence, age 92, of Warren, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Fred H. Lawrence, Jr. and was the fiance of the late Edward Ferreira of the Villages in Florida.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Serafin and Celia (Pirre) Pacheco, she lived in Warren for many years and enjoyed wintering in the Villages in Florida.
She worked at Raytheon for many years prior to her retirement. She also worked at Jack and Harry’s prior to its closure. She enjoyed motorcycle rides and golfing. She loved to garden and was an excellent cook.
She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Patricia Lawrence of Swansea; two grandsons, Stephen Turcotte of VT and Chad Travers of Warren and many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Fred H. Lawrence III and Cindy Travers and was sister of the late Mary DeCosta.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, 141 State St., Bristol, RI. Relatives and friends invited. Burial private.
