Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Francis W. and Lucille R. (Ouellette) Storey she was a longtime resident of Swansea before relocating to Florida to be with her family.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, Class of 1966 she then worked as an insurance agent at Kusintz Insurance Company for twenty years. Independent and hardworking, she waited tables at Kent’s Restaurant in Swansea for thirty years while she was also the Administrative Assistant at St. Francis of Assisi for over ten years.
A devout Catholic she was very involved in the St. Francis of Assisi Church’s events and masses. A true people person, cherished by many, she enjoyed a good conversation with anyone and adored her family.
She is survived by one brother, Daniel Storey and his wife Paula of Riverview, FL; two nieces, Sonia Robitaille and her husband Richard and Amy Spaulding and her husband Joel; one nephew, Adam Storey and his wife Kayla and eight great nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd, Swansea followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
