Norah E. Connors Maimone

Born in Reading, a daughter of the late John J. and Florence (Davis) Connors, she lived in Mansfield for many years before moving to Swansea in 2006.

In addition to being a homemaker, she was a member and Past President of the American Legion Forty and Eight Club. She enjoyed camping and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter; Norah Emond and her husband Mark of Swansea, two sons; Daniel MacElree and his wife Kathleen of Bristol, and David MacElree of Warren, nine siblings; Sydney DiMartino, Patricia Donahue, Thomas and James Connors, Barbara Courtney, Donald Connors, Florence Bartles, and Fred Connors, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Effie Aldrich, Helen Driscoll, and John Connors.

Her Funeral will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 10:30AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST 189 Gardner’s Neck Road, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00PM. Contributions In her honor may be made to the Home for Little Wanderers 271 Huntington Ave. Boston, MA 02115. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery at Bourne at 12:45PM.
