Rosaline "Rose" Delaney

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Jose and Ermelinda (Raposa) Carreiro, she spent her youth in Fall River and has been a resident of Swansea most of her life. She was the Co-Owner of Ada-Rose Beauty Shop on North Main St. in Fall River. Rose was a member of the Swansea Seniors Club, and the Hope Chapter of Swansea, and served as president. She enjoyed travel, horseshows, and music. She loved to sew, knit and crochet, and made beautiful gifts for her grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara N. Jarabek of Sarasota, FL and Fall River; a step-daughter Marilyn Dube and her husband Leo of Swansea; three grandchildren Jody Oliveira and her husband Curt, Cindy Audette and Allen L. Jarabek Jr. and Karen Sarmento; two step-grandchildren Leo Dube Jr and his wife Lisa and Mary Larue; eight great-grandchildren Curt Oliveira III, Tyler, Maxwell and Adeline Audette, AJ, Dylan, Olivia and Spencer Jarabek; three step great-grandchildren Lorenzo and Olivia Dube and Emily Larue; a brother Alfred Carreiro and his wife Willetta of Swansea and a nephew Alan Keith Carreiro and his wife Carolyn of Swansea. She was also the grandmother of the late Karen A. Jarabek and sister of the late Manuel Carreiro and Adeline Beck.

Special appreciation to her loving care givers. Devoted good neighbor Ernie Nunes, her lunch buddy Lisa Marie, Heather, Kelly, Kim, Tina, Tanya and Diane. We will be forever grateful.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 9- 11AM. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Jarabek Diagnostic Treatment Center, Attn.
