Sarah A. Rodrigues

Sarah A. Rodrigues, age 17, of Swansea, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Children’s Hospital Boston. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of David M. Rodrigues of Swansea and Jamie S. (Swift) McCrae formerly Rodrigues of Sun, LA.

Sarah was a student in her junior year at Joseph Case High School where she was a member of the show choir. She loved the children at Cases Little Faces Daycare at the High School. She was a communicant of St. Dominic’s Church and was active in the youth group. She loved music, going to the Theater, and most of all spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her parents, sister; Barbara L. Domingos, brother; Cameron D. Rodrigues both of Swansea, and sisters Lily J. and Samantha J. McCrae both of Sun, LA, grandmother; Nancy A. Rodrigues of Swansea, Grandfather; William M. Rodrigues of Providence, several aunts and uncles including Melissa A. Rodrigues of Swansea and cousins and friends.

Her Funeral will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 9:00AM in St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 G.A.R. Highway, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Contributions in her honor may be made to the Tomorrow Fund, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903 or to the Children’s Hospital Boston, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115. Burial in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Swansea.
