Don is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jean, daughters Jackie (Eddie) of Liverpool and Denise (Alicia) of Ingonish, son Arthur (Amy) of Neils Harbour, grandchildren Logan (Cheryl), Samara (Lowell), Brandon (Alexina), Sarah (Brayden), Shea, Presley and Lyla as well as great grandchildren Gracie, Alexis, Cayden, Cameron and Cohen.
Don is predeceased by his parents Jack and Ethel, sisters Helen, Dorothy and Alice and brothers Arthur and Joseph. A funeral service will take place at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Neils Harbour on Saturday, May 16 at 4pm with inurnment to follow in the parish cemetery.
