Eva Lena Strickland, age 92, of Neil's Harbour, Nova Scotia passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Highland Manor. She was an amazing mother and grandmother, sister and friend. Preceded in death by her husband Richard, whom she got to meet together on Valentines day.
Eva is survived by her sister Maggie and brother Philip. Loved by her sons, Michael and Gary and grandchildren; Carin, Connie, Richard, Robert and Richard and by her Great-grandchildren; Michaela, Ashley, Gennafer, Zack, Rory and Wren. She held a special place in our hearts.
A sincere thank you for all staff at Highland Manor, for all the love and compassion shown to Eva.
A funeral service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highland Manor or a charity of choice.
