Dear Adrian & Alice, My name is Betty (Walker) Graham of Alder Point. I am a daughter of Genevieve Walker your mother's step sister. I lived by the road as you lived up in the field with your mother Margaret, father Jody and grandmother Sarah who was my mother's step mother. I baby sat you as a young teenager. I lost track of you all as I moved to Ontario in 1961. I came back in 2004 to look after my Mom until her death in 2010 at age 94. I met your Mom again and visited her when she lived in Sydney Mines with my brother in law Johnnie MacNeil's sister. Sorry I do not remember her name. I tried to contact you but to no avail. I am living in Ontario again and I saw you mother's death notice. My sister Helene Maclellan was a very good friend of your mothers and they became good friends. We had a 90 birthday part y for Mom in 2005 in the Alder Point Hall and your Mom attended and joined the family in celebration. We were so happy to know her and introduce her to the rest of the family. It is so sad that we were not able to be in touch with her for all those years. She welcomed me each time I visited and I brought her pictures of Mom and the family. I just wanted you to know that I am glad that I knew her, your grandmother and you also, Love and hugs to you all Betty (Walker) Graham Please reply to my email if you wish to contact me.
