Richard Patrick Jessome

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce, Richard Patrick Jessome (Ricky) 59, unexpectedly passed away on Friday February 21st 2020 at his home in Sydney Mines. Born January 28th 1961. Richard was the son of Myrtle (Ross) Jessome and the late Percy Jessome. He is survived by his two loving daughters Angella (Rodney), Ashley (Liam), and his two step sons Freddy Pye (Jocelyn), Travis Pye and his four beautiful grandchildren Hayden, Hope, Gavin, and Adisyn. Richard is also survived by his wife Wanda Jessome (Chisholm), mother Myrtle Jessome, siblings Tilly (Lawrence) Tobin, Betty (John) Donovan, Charlotte Jessome, Margaret (Wallace) Roberts, Johnena Jessome (Gordon Chadwick), Mary (Charlie) Hill, Percy (Helen) Jessome, Frankie Jessome, Fabian (Franny) Jessome, Nicky (Gail) Jessome, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Besides his father Percy Jessome, Richard was predeceased by his brother David Jessome, nephews Alan Hill, Peter Jessome, niece Johnena Jessome, and sister-in-law Emma Jessome. Richard will be sadly missed by all his family, especially his grandson Hayden, whom he had a special bond with. Richard will always be remembered by all who knew him, especially his family for his hardy and contagious laugh, his handsome smile and his entertaining and often hilarious jokes. Love you Dad, with all my heart & soul (all the money in the world), and a million dollars. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 29th at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 8 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines.
