OBITUARY
William Henry LeBlanc
26 June, 1926 – 22 February, 2021
We are sad to announce the passing of our much loved Dad William “Bill” H Leblanc at Miners Memorial Manor on the early hours of Monday February 22, 2021. Dad was born in Alder Point on June 26,1926 to the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Paquet) LeBlanc. Bill is survived by his children Bill, Elizabeth (Ralph), Neil (Cindy), Glen (Dorothy), Blaise (Paula); grandchildren whom he loved dearly, William, Darren, Rob, April, Candace, Melissa, Courtney, Kelly, Nicole, Dalton and Morgan; his 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons; sisters Theresa (Les) McCarthy, Marie Anderson and Angie Hawkins; daughter-in-law Doris and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife Marg(McRae) LeBlanc in March 2015, his infant daughter Freda; infant great grandson Fahed; brothers Eddy, Winsie, Joseph; sisters Thelma, Lorraine, Issie, Martha, Rita, Freda and Annie and 2 daughter in laws Bernadette and Theresa. Dad worked for Marine Atlantic for many years. He resided at Miners Memorial manor for the past 7 years where he was lovingly looked after by the great staff. Our sincere thank you to the staff and Dr. Kohlsmith who took such great care of him. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Fillmore and Whitman Funeral home. A graveside service will take place at a later date. You are at peace now Dad and with Mom a wish you had for the last 6 years. Give her a hug for us.Love you Dad.
