In loving memory of Anna Christine MacMullin (MacKeigan) who passed away on April 26, 2022 at home in Marion Bridge with her family at her side, due to complications from Covid. Born on April 30, 1924, in Marion Bridge, daughter of John MacKeigan and Beatrice (Bayliss).
She was predeceased by her husband John, son Jerry, great grandson Brandon, brothers Carl and Neil, sisters Irene and Pearl, daughter-in-law Sadie ‘Cibbs’ and nephews Richard, Buddy and Beverly.
Anna is survived by daughter Irene (John), sons Johnny (Leigh) and Ronnie (Julie), grandchildren Junior, Connie, Corrie, Margie, Joey, Kathryn, Jeffrey, Kristene, Bhreagh, Taylor, Ryan, Emma and Sophie, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Pearl MacKeigan and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born and spent her happiest years in Marion Bridge where she spent her days as a child swimming and skating on the Mira River, and meeting friends at “the bridge”. Anna loved and cherished her family and home on the “Mira” where she was born and passed away. She was well known for her quick wit, strong will, kind nature and famous pork pies. Anna loved mayflowers and lived to see them bloom before her passing. She will be deeply missed and always remembered by her family and friends.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to TW Curry Parkview Chapel, where the visitation will take place on Monday May 2, 2022 from 6- 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marion Bridge on Tuesday May 3, 2022 at 11 am with Fr. MacGillivary officiating, with a private family burial at Stella Maris Cemetery in Louisbourg.
