Anne Riley

We are saddened to announce the passing of Anne Riley on December 28, 2025 at 92 years of age. Born on March 16, 1933, in Sydney to the late Thomas and Angeline Stevens. Anne grew up in Sydney. She moved to the States where she married and had a family of her own. Anne returned to Cape Breton due to failing health and spent the remainder of her years in care in Glace Bay at the Terrace Manor and then later at The Cove Guest Home here in Sydney.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Patrick, John and Michael. Anne was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter Barbara of California, and sons Frank of Las Vegas and Roger of California as well as their respective families. She also leaves a number of nieces and nephews.

Anne's cremated remains will be laid to rest with her twin brother at Resurrection Cemetery. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting twcurry.com.
