Bernadine is survived by her brothers Ronald (Sue) and Tony (Jean).
She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Josephine MacKinnon of Glace Bay, brother Adrian and sisters Evangeline (Fred), Sr. Rita Anthony (sisters of St. Martha), Anne (John P.) and Mary (Vern) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bernadine was fortunate to meet and support many people, some of whom became close friends. She loved dancing, skating, baking and a good laugh.
Many thanks go out to the nurses and care givers at Taigh Na Mara and to the staff at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
