With great sadness, Bernie Hickey passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Bernard and Daisy (Milley) Hickey and was predeceased by his brother Terry. Bernie is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Donna (Henrich) Hickey, extended family and many friends.
He was a member of UA local 682 Plumbers and Pipefitters.
In keeping with Bernie's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are entrusted to TW Curry Parkview Chapel.
