It is with deep regret that we the sisters of the Congregation of Notre Dame announce the passing of Sr. Camille Campbell on February 8 2021 at the CND Health Center, Sydney. Sr. Camille had a great enthusiasm for life and embraced it thoroughly.

She taught school in Sydney, Mabou and Drayton Valley, AB and was known to many students as Sr. Biology. Sr. Camille continued in various ministries as a CND including parish work in Drayton Valley, AB, Our Lady of the Assumption in Sylvan Lake, AB and Lloydminster, AB. Sr Camille returned to Sydney in 1999 and worked with women and women’s groups.
In 2011 she moved to Parkland, Sydney where she resided until her health declined and then was welcomed at the CND Health Center in 2013.
Sr. Camille was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her brother, Fr. Donald F. Campbell, her sisters, Sr. Mary Elizabeth Campbell and Joan (Dr. Bill) Gibson. Sr. Camille is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Sr. Camille truly walked in the footsteps of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys.
