It is with broken hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our wife, sister, stepmother, aunt and cherished friend Elizabeth Anne MacNeil aka Our Beautiful Tootsie. Born in Big Beach, January 23rd, 1954 to John Alex and Annie T. MacNeil.
Tootsie answered her call in life to become a well-respected and compassionate Nurse. She loved and believed in strong family connections and did everything in her power to get us all together. She loved her work life and had never spoken a bad word about her job or fellow workers. She always managed to find the silver lining on each cloud. Tootsie had an ability to brighten up any given situation and she had a God given ability to be a true friend. Tootsie had an infectious smile and a contagious laugh. She strongly believed in her community as well as all its residents. I guess in simple terms.. To know Tootsie was to love her.
She is survived by husband Neil J., her mom Annie T, siblings; Roddie D. (Maureen), Joe (Carolyn) and Snooks (Robert LeBlanc), nieces and nephews; Hector, Shannon, Scott and Colleen, and grandniece Salerah Pentecost. Tootsie is also survived by stepchildren Tara, Ryan J. (Jeanann), Mora (JM), Katriona (Aaron), Meaghan (Pete) and Sheamus (Andrea)
She was predeceased by her Father John Alex, sister-in-law Debi MacNeil and former husband Martin J. MacNeil.
A service will be announced at a later date. Memories may be shared with the family by visiting www.twcurry.com.
