It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Judith Claire MacIntyre, 73, who passed away suddenly at home in Irish Vale on Monday, April 25, 2016.

Born November 11, 1942 in Sydney’s Northend, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Walker) Christopher.

She was an NDP supporter and a member of the Sacred Heart parish of Johnstown.

Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years Charles MacIntyre and their children Charles James, Courtney, BC; Judith Charlene, Edmonton, AB; and Terrence Hector, Marble Mountain; grandchildren Shaughn, Janessa, Madison, Evan and Katherine and brother Terrence Christopher, Ontario.

She was predeceased by an infant son Joseph John in 1964.

Visitation for Mrs. MacIntyre will take place from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Friday at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Johnstown with Fr. Anthony O’Connor officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
