Kenneth 'Bose' Martin Marshall

8 October, 19562 June, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, granddad, brother, uncle and friend Kenneth Martin Marshall better known as “Bose” at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney on June 2, 2021. Born to parents Frank and Julia (Paul) Marshall on October 8, 1956. Bose worked many years in construction and cutting pulp for Douglas Denny and family. They became a big part of his life. After his retirement, he worked with his best friend Vincent Joe doing contract work in and around the community. He was always up for a good game of crib or chess. In his younger days he was active in martial arts, weight lifting and boxing along with traveling around. His grandchildren adored him and in return, he adored them. He’d visit with family and friends and enjoy a cup of tea or two. Bose lived life on his own terms and was loved by his family and many great friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Julia (Paul) Marshall, a son Shane Kenneth Stevens, sister Annie Jane (Marshall) Poulette and just recently his brother Clarence Noel Paul and a brother in infancy. He was also predeceased by godchild Michael Dennis, god parents Peter Marshall and Catherine Jeddore. He is survived by his children Jill ‘Loli’ Stevens, Frank Stevens and Scotty Caparotta of Caribou, Maine, brothers and sisters Joe (Yvonne) Paul, Mary Jane (Walter) Stevens, Mollege (Brendon) Poulette, Maily (Jali) Pierro, Wagmatcook, Darlene Marshall, Danny (Janet) Marshall, Frankie Marshall, Sydney, Nora Marshall as well as his only aunt Elizabeth Knockwood and uncles Albert and Kapiel Marshall. As far back as I can remember, Tata Bose has been in my memories. He was my father's very good friend and my brother, Michael was his godchild. Every time he saw me, he'd ask how's my godchild? I always greeted him with a hug and ask him how he was. I will never forget my Tata Bose; my 74st neighbor. Kesalul aqq nemultes ap ❤
