So sorry to hear about Lizzie. She was a remarkable woman and wonderful mother. I have many great memories of her and Tom from my early childhood in Old Town. On Sunday afternoons they would often take a herd of us kids for a drive in Tom's panel truck. They would put kitchen chairs in the back for us to sit on. No need for seat belts. On one trip we went all the way to St. Peter's. It felt to me like we were going to New York. What an adventure!
They would always come to our house at Christmas and there would be music and singing. My favourite song was Lizzie singing Between Two Trees.
I'm sorry we can not be with you to say goodbye. We are currently in Vietnam.
