Mary Theresa Gillis, 80 of 500 Kings Road, passed away quietly at home on Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late David and Sarah A. (MacDonald) Gillis.
She was a former member of Sacred Heart parish. Theresa was employed for many years both at St. Rita Hospital and Sydney Credit Union. Prior to this, she also worked for Art Lipton. She was an avid visitor to New York and was a true cat lover.
She is survived by a sister Geraldine ‘Gerry’, of Sydney and by several cousins.
Theresa was predeceased by her brother Sandy.
There will be no visitation for the late Theresa Gillis. Donations to a charity of choice.
