

She was born in Glace Bay on January 12, 1926 to the late Joseph and Anne (MacNeil) Browner. Camilla spent many years running the family bed and breakfast both in Louisbourg and then later in Catalone. She was devoted to her family and renown for her cooking.
Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her husband Charles, son David, and granddaughter Jennifer. Camilla, the last of her immediate family, was also predeceased by her 9 siblings and son-in-law George Lahey.
She is survived and will be missed by her children Charles “Skip” (Mary), Anne Lahey, Janet (Donald) Lahey, Vernon (Gail), Stephen (Martha) and Mark as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting twcurry.com. Camilla’s ashes will be laid to rest beside her husband in Louisbourg at 2pm on Monday, October 27th. A reception will follow at the Catalone Recreation Centre.
