Condolences to the Beatons. My aunt went into the Sisters of St Martha. She was a little younger than sister Beaton, but probably knew her. (Sight Point). Sister had an incredibly long life & was no doubt a comfort to the remaining Beatons.

My mother was a Beaton (Isabel) Broad Cove Banks....
My aunts, Sister Allana and Sister Margie Beaton....were long and close friends of Sister Frances.....from the Banks of course.
I had the pleasure of being in her company numerous times when she lived at Mount St Bernard along with my Aunt Allana....
She had such a wonderful sense of humour,so easy to be with..
She loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews and so enjoyed talking about them.....I felt like I knew them.
I would bring Mom over to visit Florence when we were visiting Inverness during the summer,so I did get to meet a few.

Now they are together again .....Can you imagine the Ceilidh.... Bless you all.
I loved her dearly.

Rest easy dear Sr. Frances. Fond memories of her at The Regional in Antigonish, and of our French Exchange trip to Quebec and playing cards on the train.

We are saddened to learn of Sister Frances’ passing. She lived a life of service and devotion, and she did it with a gentle manner that endeared her to all those she encountered along her long path. We came to know her well as she was such a dear friend to our aunt, Sister Hilda MacKinnon, and also to our parents, Mike and Doris (MacKinnon) Laffin, while they were living at Parkland. Our condolences to her nieces and nephews and all family members.

To The Beaton Family
On behalf of my family and I please accept our most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Sr. Beaton.
Sr. was a teacher of mine at the Saint Andrew Junior High in Antigonish. Always a smile. She gave so much throughout her years and never looked for anything in return. The lord holds a special place for her in heaven.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family as you mourn her passing.
