

Born in Frenchvale, he was the son of the late Stephen Joseph and Agnes (Currie) MacLean.
He was a member of St. Mary Parish, East Bay. He worked in the lumber business for a number of years and after20 years, retired from Municipal Ready Mix in 1994. Da’s life was his family and he received great pleasure from his grand and great grandkids and kept up to date in all their activities. He enjoyed his Scottish music collection, Donnie Campbell’s Sunday night program, the outdoors and trips to his cabin.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Theresa (Currie); daughters Cecilia Ann (Blaise) MacLean, East Bay; Regina (Joe) Curry, Sydney River; sons Tommy (Fran), Howie Center; Blaise Francis (Karen), Coxheath; sisters Rose Mary Gouthro, Sydney; Jenny (Joe) Rock, Framingham, Mass.; Patsy MacLellan, Sydney; Bishie (Jimmy) MacInnis, Lower Sackville; Ann (Bryan) Finney, Ottawa; brothers David (Juanita), Scarborough, ON; John (Eileen) Downingtown, Penn; sister-in-law Selina ‘Lynn’ MacLean; grandchildren Jason (Lorianne) MacLean, Scott (Jean) MacLean, Alana (Michael) Daley, Katie (Sheldon) LeBlanc, Dougal Curry, Brett MacLean, Candice MacLean, Alyce MacLean, Patrick MacLean, Sarah MacLean, great grandchildren Emily and Brady MacLean, David and Matthew LeBlanc, Baron Daley and many nieces and nephews.
Tommy was predeceased by an infant daughter Heather, son Douglas, 2 sisters Adeline Hall and Ann in childhood, brothers Johnny, Joe ‘Doc’, Charles, Danny, brothers-in-law Joe Gouthro, Neil MacPherson and Andy MacLellan.
Visitation for Mr. MacLean will take place at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel on Friday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Church with Rev. Frank Abbass officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery, East Bay. Reception to follow in the East Bay Fire Hall.
