Alice M. HodgesSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Alice M. Hodges, 70, will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Max Buttram officiating.  Mrs. Hodges will lie in state one hour prior to her service at the church.  Burial will be in Hollins Cemetery in Hollins, AL.Mrs. Hodges died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Fannie Harkins.  Mrs. Hodges was retired from Marvin's and she loved helping people.She is survived by her husband, Reid Hodges; son, Dale Grice, wife Kay of Sylacauga; brother, Doyle Harkins, wife Barbara of Leeds, AL; sister, Brenda Saxon, husband Bobby of Alexander City, AL; children, Reida Blount, husband Dean of Stewartville, Patsy Hodges of Montgomery, Paul Hodges, wife Deanne of Moody, Vicki Fannin, husband Dwight of Chelsea and Christie Smith of Montgomery; 8 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  The family would like to give a special thanks her caregiver, Linda and Alacare Hospice, especially Sheri, Gayle and Amy. Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.Pallbearers will be Dwight Fannin, Paul Hodges, Dean Blount, Alex Johnson, Terry Grice and Adam Alexander.  Honorary pallbearer will be Bragg Grice.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
