Funeral services for Andy D. Newman, age 40 of Hatchet Creek, will be Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Rev. Joe Fain officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 9 from 5-8 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. He passed away September 6, 2018 at Grandview Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Tabitha Newman of Hatchet Creek; children, Makayla Newman, Ethan Newman and Luke Newman all of Hatchet Creek; parents, Larry and Suzette Newman; grandmothers, Aileen Newman, Myrtle Clark; brother, Jeremy Newman. Andy was a loving husband and dad. He worked for Walmart for 17 years and also as an EMT Basic for Sylacauga Ambulance Service. His favorite bible verse was Isaiah 40:31. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Travis Clark and Dewitt Newman and sister, Lacey Newman. Online memorials may be made at www.curtisandsonfh.com.
