She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Sherbert (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Shawna Sherbert, Shawn Sherbert, and Justin Sherbert; and her siblings, William Stephenson, Jerry Stephenson, Joseph Anderson, and Roni Nix.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Cecelia Stephenson; her husband, Donald Keith Neese; her son, Jeremy Joseph Hule; and her siblings, David Stephenson, John Stephenson, Carroll Wilson, Wendell Stephenson.

Burial with a private service will be at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama at a later date.
