Clara Jean Connell

Clara is survived by her son, Greg Guy (Gay); her daughter, Melissa McDaniel (John); her 4 step-children; her grandson, Wesley Guy, her granddaughters Amanda McDaniel and Allison McGinnis; great grandchildren, Shaw Benjamin Guy, Jace Ogle, Granger Ogle; aunt, Lexie Darden and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Connell; father, Autis Walker; mother, Dovie Brown; brothers, Buddy Walker, Johnny Walker and Bloise Walker.

A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with Bro. Chuck Kornegay and Bro. Wesley Johnson officiating. A burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Clara will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 1501 Talladega Highway, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150.

Serving as pallbearers are Wesley Guy, Brent Forbus, Jackson Hagan, Tom Young, Tony Hickman and R.D. Morris.
