Sylacauga, AL. - Dean Austin Johnson, age 47, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Dean is survived by his parents, Walter and Sherry Johnson; sister, Ginger Hilyer (Matt); niece, Ashlee Hilyer and nephew, Harrison Hilyer.
Dean graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College before going into the electrical business.
A graveside service for Dean will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenhill Cemetery, 7447 Old Sylacauga Hwy, Childersburg, AL 35044 with Rev. Matt Hilyer and Rev. John Woodall officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are Tyler Clark, Wayne Hill, Harrison Hilyer, Jason Young, Hank Lightsey and Jeffrey Lightsey. Honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Denizen.
