Donald Ray Byrd passed away on April 3, 2026 at his residence.

A Visitation will be at Curtis and Son North Chapel on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 5-8 pm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lera Mae Byrd, brothers, Thomas D. Byrd and Howard L. Byrd.

Survivors are his wife, Linda Byrd, sons, Jeffery Ray Byrd (Candy), Andrew David Byrd (Jennifer), step-son, Shannon Lee Hurst, daughter, Angie Lee Byrd, step-daughter, Stephanie Lynn Williams (Brian), brothers, Lathan W. Byrd, Timothy Byrd, sisters, Dorothy E. Varner (Houston), Shirley F. Collier, Ona L. McDonald, Lisa D. Mathis, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
