Dorothy Lee BurksSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Dorothy Lee Burks, 76, will be Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00 am at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mrs. Burks died Friday, November 29, 2013 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles Walton Burks.Mrs. Burks was Baptist by faith and loved crafts and sewing.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.She is survived by sons, Michael Burks and wife Julie of Sylacauga and Chris Burks of Rockford; daughters, Karen Burks of Texas, Tina Thomason of Pell City, Cindy Burks of Sylacauga, Brenda Davenport and husband, Mark, of Hollins, Sherry Bone and husband, Dwayne, of Sylacauga, Tammy Davis and husband, Bobby, of Andalusia, Connie Tyler and husband, Ricky, of Childersburg, Stacey Ballard of Texas, and Vicky Burks of Talladega; sister, Annette Owings of Childersburg; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
