Frances Lucille Gower HobbsSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Frances Lucille Gower Hobbs, 85, will be Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11:00 am at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Jimmie Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in Newsite Baptist Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mrs. Hobbs died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Sylacauga Health Care.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavert "BeBe" Hobbs and granddaughter, Anna Sue Roberts.  She was retired from Avondale Mills after better than 30 years of service.  She was a member of Westview Baptist Church.She is survived by sons, Lavert Hobbs of Talladega, Ronald Hobbs, wife Sue of Sylacauga and Raymond Hobbs, wife Christina of Talladega; granddaughters, Rhonda Roberts, husband Chris of Sycamore, Carrie Roberts, husband Jeff of Sycamore, Holley Roberts, husband Adam of Sylacauga and Deseree Herrington, husband Ryan of Talladega;  grandsons, Corey Hobbs of Talladega, David Hobbs of Talladega and Greg Pruitt of Talladega; , great-grandchildren, Jessica Roberts, Daniel Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Alex Roberts all of Sycamore, Addison Roberts,  Avery Roberts, both of Sylacauga, Leah Herrington of Talladega and Ashley Pruitt of Pelham and a host of nieces and nephews.Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.The family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to the Sylacauga Tornado Relief Fund, (256-245-4343) checks payable to Sylacauga Area 4 Tornado Relief, P.O. Box 1122, 78 Betsy Ross Lane, Sylacauga, AL 35150.Pallbearers will be Corey Hobbs, David Hobbs, Greg Pruitt, Chris Roberts, Adam Roberts and Jeff Roberts.  Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Clifton and Jeff Clifton.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
