Gary Lloyd Lumpkin passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 70. He was born on November 19, 1955, in Georgia.

He is survived by his sons, Doug Lumpkin and Benjamin Lumpkin, and his daughters, Christy Lumpkin Bauer and Cheryl Lumpkin. His sisters, Patricia Lumpkin Fair and Kathy Lumpkin Hollon Watson, also survive him. Additionally, his ex-wife, Carol Koehler, is among the surviving family members.

A graveside service will be held at Fairfax Cemetery in Valley, Alabama, on January 3, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
