Graveside service for George Evers, age 77, of Sylacauga will Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 11AM at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Dale Abrams officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. Mr. Evers passed away on July 23, 2017. Mr. Evers was preceded in death by his son: Danny Owens and daughter: Rachel Evers. He was the owner/operator of Evers Marine for 35 years and was avid fisherman. Survivors are his wife of 51 years: Scarlett Evers, son: Shane Evers (Tammy), daughter: Rebecca Thomas (Randy), grandson: Tyler Evers, granddaughter: Jillian Owens Tetro (Fredrick) and great grandchildren: Jaydon, Gage and Keely.
