Herman O. Hickman

Herman is survived by his son Tony Hickman (Cheryl); and his daughter Susan Martin (Darrell); his granddaughters Haley Martin and Emily Martin, and his great grandchildren Zander Taylor and Brooks Cobb.

Herman was preceded in death by his wife Bettye Ruth Hammons Hickman; his father Jabe Hickman and his mother Lera Hickman; his brothers Earnest Lee Hickman and Jabe Garland Hickman; and his sister Janett Ann Williamson.

A visitation for Herman will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Herman will be laid to rest in Tallasahatchie Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Rev. Wes Johnson.

Serving as pallbearers are Joe Harris, Greg Motes, Steve Motes, Tommy Hammonds, Tim Hickman, Jimmy Hayes, Kevin Hammons, Jeff Hickman, and Darrell Martin. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Randy Hickman and Darrell Hickman.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was married to his deceased wife Bettye for 70 years. He was a member of Odena Baptist CHurch where he had served as a deacon. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Kimberly Clark.
