Homer O. HouseSylacauga, AL - Graveside service for Homer O. House, 88, will be Friday, October 12, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. James Long officiating. Homer honorably served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned a Standard Oil Gas Station in Chicago. He was very witty and always quick with a joke and enjoyed racing, farming, and taking care of his cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer House and Paulett Sneed; daughter, Linda Belue; son, Randy House; and sister, Hazel Ray.He is survived by the love of his life, Mary Hammonds; brothers, Sam and Marshall House; daughter, Jenny House; and by many grandchildren and great-granchildren.
