James Terry Browning

Terry is survived by his wife, Bettye Browning; his sisters Judy Stults (Charles), Diana Collins (Larry), Connie Barker (Richard), and Sandra Poe; his brother Don Browning (Crystal) and his sister-in-law Sue Ann Browning; his best friends Phil and Debe Hooley.

Terry was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Alice Coxwell Browning; his parents William Henry and Maurice Ruby Browning; his brother Jerry Wayne Browning and his nephew Clint Walker.

Terry also leaves a host of nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Terry was on the 1969 State Championship team from Clay County. He also was a firefighter with the Alex City Fire Department from 1971 until 1976.

A memorial service for Terry will be held Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM at West End Baptist Church, 3050 Old Dark Rd, Alexander City, AL 35010.
