To Mrs. Shirley, Becky, Paul and Jon and familiy, We were so sorry to hear of his passing.  The funeral service was a beautiful tribute to his life and we can rejoice that he is with his heavenly Father and suffers no more.  You all will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Mickey while working for Avondale. He was my auditor. It took about 30minutes or less for Mickey and I to become good working friends. He knew my relatives that lived in Slyacauga. Mickey was a good, kind man. I know his family will miss him dearly. God bless.

I have sweet memories of Mickey and Shirley Cardwell and their family from growing up in Mignon Baptist Church in Sylacauga.  While, his passing saddens our hearts, we rejoice in the glory of his Homecoming.  Our thoughts, hearts and especially our prayers for peace and comfort are with his family.  He was a good, Christian man and we are assured that the words he heard as he passed through Heavens Gates were, "Well done my good and faithful servant."  "When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be."
