Funeral service for James Olen Hosey, age 83 of Sylacauga will be Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 3PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. Mike Price officiating. Burial will follow at New Site Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Mr. Hosey passed away on February 24, 2017 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father: William Ocie Hosey, mother: Lula Varner Hosey, wife of 50 years: Rudine Hosey, wife: Bobbie Rousseau Hosey, son: Johnny Hosey, brothers: Bill and Bloise Hosey, sisters: Thelma Faulk and Frances Shaw and great granddaughter: Skylar Chesser. Survivors are sons: Kirby Hosey (Kim), Ricky Hosey (Shewanda), Danny Hosey (Beverly), daughters: LaQuetta Lightsey (Hank), Kim Bearden (Robert), Denetta Shierling (Donald), sisters: Joyce Braswell (Jim), Laverne Radlund (Bud) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Bearden, Hank Lightsey, Donald Shierling, Scott Wilson, Johnny Butler and Chris Chesser.
