Jerry Wayne Thornton

Funeral service for Jerry Wayne Thornton, age 72, of Sylacauga will be Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 12 noon at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Pastor Keith Owensby officiating. Burial will follow at New Site Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-12 at the funeral home.

Mr. Thornton passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023.

He was preceded in death by parents: Brice and Addie Thornton, son, Michael Thornton and Brothers, Dewayne Thornton, Bricey Thornton and Punkin Thornton. He was a member of Valley View Church of God.

Survivors are his Wife of 52 years, Barbara Thornton, Daughter: Kelly Gray, Brothers, Lucky Thornton (Jan), Robert Clyde Thornton (Debbie), Joseph Thornton, Sisters, Becky Gaither, Millie Combs Dennis, Regina Cotton, 4 grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren who he loved dearly.
