Jimmy Lee GurganusWilsonville, AL - Memorial service for Jimmy Lee Gurganus, 58, will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Byron White and Rev. Mike Gurganus officiating. .Mr. Gurganus died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at his residence.  He was employed for 40 years with Alabama Power/Southern Company.He is survived by wife, Heather Gurganus of Westover; son, Brandon Gurganus, wife Allison of Columbiana, AL;  daughter, Brooke Grigsby, husband Tom of Columbiana, AL; mother, Edna Gurganus of Jasper, AL; father, Clarence Gurganus, wife Linda of Muscle Shoals; brothers, Mike Gurganus, wife Nancy of Chattanooga, TN and Lynn Gurganus, wife Kim of Alabaster, AL;  grandchildren, Tommy Grigsby,  Addison Grigsby, Grant Gurganus,  Hayden Gurganus, Laney Brennan and Chandler Gurganus. Visitation will be Tuesday,  December 27, 2011 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.In lieu of flowers the family request contribution be made to Hope Hospice at 236 Headquarter Rd., Anniston, AL 36202 or The Bruno Cancer Center, 810 St. Vincents Drive, Birmingham, AL 35205-1601.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
