Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Kathy P. Stewart, 64, will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rickey Phifer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mrs. Stewart died Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Comer & Lorene Phifer; daughter-in-law, Daphne Stewart; and sister, Shelby Phillips.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jon Stewart; two sons, Jason Stewart of Sylacauga, Jeremy (Rebecca) Stewart of Phil Campbell, AL; daughter, Katie (Spencer) Dodson of Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren, Devan Stewart, Alexis Stewart, Lily Stewart, Knoll Dodson, Vera Dodson; three brothers, J. D. Phifer of Hartsville, AL, Harold Phifer of Dalton, GA, Rickey Phifer of East Franklin, AL; and two sisters, Peggy Lawler of Gravel Hill, AL, and Tammie Messer of Phil Campbell, AL.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Spencer Dodson, Bryan Messer, Lonnie Phillips, John Isbell, Paul Phillips and Clarence Sealy.
