I counted Larry as a dear friend. I cherish the memories of working with the Gentle Giant in Southern Gospel Music.

Larry was quite literally the nicest guy I’d ever met. I remember the first time I met him at Fitness Xpress in 2018. He complimented my high-bar squat form. From then on, whether it was at the gym, Walmart, the art museum where he worked occasionally, or a community event, we would light up with joy when we saw Larry because he embodied what it means to be a kind neighbor. Larry was a man of God & a true family man. He was so proud of his kids & loved nothing more than showing off his adorable grandkids. My heart breaks for his gorgeous wife & family, but I know he is at peace & comfortable in his rightful place in Heaven. -Jacy Fisher
