Mavis BaxterBoynton Beach, FL - Graveside service for Mavis Baxter, 89, will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Blois Walker officiating. Mrs. Baxter passed died on Wednesday January 27, 2015 at High Ridge Assisted Living in Boynton Beach, FL. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Cook and William Baxter; granddaughter, Brittney; mother, Mary Elizabeth Castleberry; father, John Robert Smith; siblings, Vinnie, Lillie, Elgin, Ruth, Polly, Leavis and Robert. She was a resident of Sylacauga and also of Florida. When she was in Florida her heart was in Sylacauga. She is survived by her daughters, Marsha Linville and Dianne Miller; step-daughter, Kay Luebs; grandchildren, Jami Dianne, Pim and Zak; five great-grandchildren.
