Michael "Mike" Wayne Braswell

Michael "Mike" Wayne Braswell, age 66, passed on March 29, 2026; he was born March 25, 1960, in Alabama and was a resident of Cropwell, Alabama. Mike is survived by his wife, Judi Braswell; his children, Miranda Edwards (Taylor), Mitch Braswell (Hillary), Brandon Leirer (Lindsey), and Kristin Leirer; his sister, Brenda Davis; and his grandchildren, Hannah Myrick, Madison Sparks (Payton), Jordan Leirer, Sawyer Braswell, Cooper Leirer, Amelia Braswell, Parker Leirer, Natalynn Edwards, Scarlett Braswell, Henry Braswell, and Gabe Drakos. He was preceded in death by his father, James Millard Braswell; his mother, Marjorie Braswell; his brothers, Virgil Braswell and Jim Braswell Jr.; and his grandchild, Elliott Braswell.

Visitation will be held at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel, 1099 1st Ave NW, Childersburg, AL 35044, on April 2, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Seddon Baptist Church in Pell City, AL, on April 3, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a graveside service at Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL, on April 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Bob Curtis, Don Meeks, Mitch Braswell, Brandon Leirer, Jordan Leirer, Taylor Edwards, and Sawyer Braswell.

Final resting place will be at Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Sylacauga.
