SYLACAUGA- A Memorial service for Kristie “Michele” Bearden Nelson, 58, will be Saturday, January 7th at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with Shane Clark officiating. Known as Michele to family and friends, she died peacefully on December 23rd surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Sylacauga, AL on 6/25/1964. She was a 1982 graduate of Sylacauga High School, a longtime resident and a former Dialysis Technician for 25 years.
She is survived by her Father, Raymond (Joyce) Bearden; her Mother Joann (Denny) Reese; One Daughter, Jessica (Nick) Ciza; One Grandson Asher Ciza and a Granddaughter to be arriving shortly. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins whom she loved dearly. Michele was cared for by her loving Aunt Sandy and her cousin, Kim.
She is preceded in death by her Paternal Grandparents, Luther and Louise Bearden; Maternal Grandparents, Louise Morris (Dallas) Walley and Commodore Walley and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Michele’s legacy is that she had family that she loved, friends that she made and lives that she saved. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s as she was a longtime supporter.
