Robert E. Wilson

Robert E. Wilson, age 73, of Goodwater, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Robert was born January 28, 1948 to Jacqueline Gill Wilson and Arlin Wilson. A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur at Old Childersburg Cemetery. Rev. Mark Geier will be officiating all services. Robert is survived by best friend and mother of children Margaret D. White; brothers Ronald E. Wilson (Lena) and Eric Wilson; children Michael R. Wilson (Amy), Stephanie D. Chapman, and Timothy A. "Tim" Wilson, grandchildren Randall S. "Randy" Lightsey, Michael R. Wilson Jr. (Lea Ivy), Mason A. Wilson, Timothy "Allen" Wilson Jr. (Harlie), Makenzie E. Wilson, Kevin R. Gooden "Jr", Savannah D. Gooden, and Jacob C. Wilson "Jake", great grandchild William Michael "Liam" Wilson and friend William W. White. Robert was preceded in death by father Arlin Wilson and mother Jacqueline Gill Wilson; child Barbara Ann Wilson. Serving as pallbearers are Michael Wilson, Mason Wilson, Allen Wilson, Jake Wilson, Kenny Kite, Beau Usrey and JR Gooden.
