Ronald Eugene Butler

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Ronald Butler, 71, will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Childersburg Church of God with Rev. Rouzelle Sanders and Rev. Donnie Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery in Fayetteville, AL.

Mr. Butler died Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Butler, Sr., brother, Bloise Butler, brother, John Butler, Jr., brother, Gerald Butler, sister, Dorothy Baker, and sister, Geneva Hill.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Delaine Butler; daughter, Dianna (Phillip) Collier; son, Leon (Helen) Dudley; seven grandchildren, Bridgette (Nick) Cox, Austin Collier, Daniel Collier, Danielle Dudley, Melody Dudley, Ava Dudley, Becca Dudley; two great-grandchildren, Noah Cox, Samantha Cox; two sisters, Sarah Guy, Christine Nelson; brother, Willard Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Childersburg Church of God.

Pallbearers will be Tim Butler, Danielle Dudley, Zach Hatfield, Johnny Butler, Phillip Collier and Daniel Collier. Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Nelson and Tommy Nelson.
